I read about this yesterday. What a fucking joke. How does a border guard have any idea if the material on my iPOD is legal or not?

I'm unhappy about this devlopment, and I'll speak with my pocketbook - it's the only thing the government or big business understand. I could go to Phoenix, Arizona for vacation, and spend my tourism dollars there, but if these dicks are going to invade my privacy when I enter their country, I'll go somewhere else instead, and some island in the Caribbean can have my tourism dollars instead.

It just never fucking ends with the ridiculous onslaught or rights abuses, legal machinations, and frivolous lawsuits by IP groups like the MPAA & RIAA. These fucking guys see a RISE in sales every year, yet their greed knows no bounds. If they would embrace a new model, there's a lot of money to be made.

P.S. I hate the fucking government. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of big corporations.

If the studios are losing so much money from piracy, how is it still profitable to make movies? Oh yeah, they're NOT losing money. They just want to be making more money.
I understand that part of the issue is simply that they (the studios and the artists) want to be getting all the revenue related to their intellectual work. But I don't see too many people starving while putting out excellent work. A lot of these people should take pride in the fact that even though people aren't willing to pay full price [to legitimate distributors] for some of their work, they still want to see it.

The following site has a small discussion about the song, and it is confirmed to be on the Season 3 soundtrack, due out when the DVD set is released.

I agree with you on the TV is watching the same stream, but my analogy was more for the service, which was the point of this post. The filtering of packet priorities seems like a good idea for Bell/Rogers for VOIP, but what about their competitors, how long until the competition's packets are filter into slower lanes?

With little competition as far as DSL/Cable options, I can not purchase a guaranteed rate here. Is there a service that guarantees 5 Mbps, and if so, at what cost? The problem is that no one is offering it, since they do not want to be forced to leave your connection there. The main ISPs want to be able to filter packets for their products, above the desire of others.

Even without VOIP, World of Warcraft uses bit torrent to send updates, I just downloaded Linux MCE iso image, which was bit torrent, why do they have to slow any packet? This is not what they claim to do when asking you to subscribe to the service.

I still find that there is not an argument here against net neutrality, since if I do not intend to use the applications that the ISPs want to give preference to, since they are using the bandwidth I am paying for to help deliver it, then it should not concern me. Filter the people who want VOIP from Bell/Rogers so that the rest of us are unaffected.
